Tooltle is a collection of browser-based developer tools. Every tool runs entirely on your device. We do not have a backend that stores, logs, or processes the data you paste, type, upload, or generate.

What we do not collect

• No accounts and no sign-ups required to use the tools.
• No ads, no third-party ad scripts, no advertising trackers.
• No cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, no advertising IDs.
• No copies of the text, files, or images you process.

Analytics

Tooltle uses GoatCounter to count pageviews so we know which tools people find useful. GoatCounter does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not track you across sites. It collects only aggregate counts of pageviews, referrers, countries, and browser types. See the GoatCounter privacy notes for details.

We use GoatCounter for analytics. It does not set cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not track you across other websites. It anonymously records basic pageviews so we know how many people are using our tools. Your pasted text, generated passwords, uploaded images, and voice dictations are completely processed on your device and are never tracked, seen, or stored by us or GoatCounter.

What stays on your device

A few tools use your browser's localStorage to remember your preferences — for example, your theme choice, whether a sample has been seeded, and the password generator's recent history. This data never leaves your browser. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Files and uploads

When you drop a file into the Base64 or Image Compressor tool, the file is read in-memory by your browser. It is never uploaded to a server.

Tooltle is provided free of charge, "as is", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. By using the tools you agree that the authors are not liable for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from their use.

You are responsible for the data you put into the tools and for verifying any output before relying on it. The tools are intended for general developer convenience and are not a substitute for audited cryptographic, security, or compliance software.

You may use Tooltle for personal and commercial work. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, attack other users, or use the site to host or distribute malicious content.
